The Pirate Code of The Wicked Wench

What is The Wicked Wench?

The Wicked Wench is a public SCUM server providing a haven for both PVP and PVE players. These zones are indicated on the #pirate-map for easy reference.

While sailing these seas, you may be raided, shot, or swindled of your coin. We have specific zones for pirates who wish to build, fish, and explore without constant interference. Any pirate who breaks the code will be keelhauled—fate is decided by the Pirate Captains and can range from warnings to permanent bans.

Article I: General Code Guidelines

  • Hacks & Exploits: Use of hacks, cheats, glitches, or bugs results in an immediate soul-purge from the seven seas.
  • No Advertising: Keep your other ports to yourself.
  • Guilt by Association: Participating with a rule-breaking friend results in your removal as well.
  • Support Tickets: Report violations via #📬│support-ticket. Do not DM Pirate Lords directly.
  • Warzone Storage: You CANNOT park chests in warzones; they will be removed automatically.
  • Banter & Conduct: In-game banter is allowed, but hate speech, racism, and sexism are strictly forbidden. This includes all racial slurs (-ga, -ger).
  • Trader Safety: You are not allowed to camp the trader borders.
  • Identities: English is the main language. Names must be readable with no random numbers or crazy characters.
  • Technical Rules: VPN users are automatically kicked. Alternate accounts are forbidden—discovery results in stats and coins being reset to zero.
  • Economy: Do not exploit bot coin or use friends to join just to send coin and leave. Punishment follows the alternate account policy.

Article II: Traps / Mines / Bombs

  • Placement: Mines are allowed WITHIN YOUR FLAG AREA ONLY. This does not include roads.
  • Violations: Placing mines outside your area results in a fine and being teleported on top of your mine.
  • Road Exclusion: Do NOT place mines on any road, even if your flag area covers it.
  • Wasteland Rules: Mines may be placed anywhere in the Wasteland (Yellow Zone), including roads.
  • Non-Raid Damage: Grenades and launchers are forbidden outside raid hours to prevent accidental damage to vehicles or mines.

Article III: Lockpicking Rules

  • Open World: Lockpicking remains on during regular hours for chests or cars out in the open.
  • Active Monitoring: Admins ensure lockpicking only occurs on elements not located inside of a base.

Article IV: Base Construction

  • Accessibility: Do not place flags in unreachable areas like roofs.
  • Road Blocking: Building elements cannot block roads, even in the Wasteland.
  • Flag Limits: 2 flags per squad max. Setting a flag solely to lay mines is considered griefing and results in a ban.
  • PVE Residence: If you live in a PVE area, you cannot have flags in the Wasteland or PVP areas.
  • City Building: You can build in cities/tunnels but cannot block access to POIs (Police, Gas, Weapons, Stadiums, etc.).
  • Drama: Protect your own loot; admins will not interfere with squad "inside jobs".

Article V: Base Raiding

Raid Times: M-F (8PM-12AM CST) | Sat-Sun (6PM-12AM CST).
Time Limit: 2.5 Hours per raid. Wasteland is 24/7 (Must still call !raid).
  • Call to Action: You MUST type !raid in the Global Channel. If it doesn't show in Global or #💣│public-raid-alerts, the raid is null.
  • Counter Raids: Stumbling on a raid and countering requires a !raid call as well.
  • Frequency: You may only raid the same base once per raid period. Squads are allowed 3 raids per raid hours.
  • Mechanics: You must have a flag down to raid. No logging out inside enemy bases—if stuck, taxi out.
  • Griefing: No leveling bases or purposefully despawning items/vehicles. PVP inside a base without a raid call is allowed but limited to 3 kills per squad before it becomes griefing.
  • No-Go Zones: Raiding is NOT allowed in PVE zones.
  • Obstruction: Do not block doors or base access with vehicles.

Article VI: PVE Zones

  • Role Restriction: PVE residents CANNOT raid bases. To raid, you must move your base to a PVP zone.
  • Exploration: PVE players can loot warzones and PVP, respecting the 3-kill base limit. Outside PVE, you are fair game.
  • Safehouse Policy: No explosives allowed in PVE bases unless being sold. Discovery leads to a warning, then open loot for the server and 0 bot coin/gold.
  • PVE Safety: Combat/killing inside PVE results in a fine and 24-hour ban. You cannot run to PVE once a PVP fight has started.
  • Theft: Stealing cars or chests from the PVE zone is forbidden. PVP players cannot safehouse items in PVE.

Article VII: Squads

  • Limit: 10 members max. Notify admins of frequent squad transfers.
  • No Teaming: No raiding, PVPing, or warzoning with other squads. Teaming results in jail for the entire squad.
  • Responsibility: If one member cheats, all squad mates will be investigated and potentially temporarily banned.
  • Identity: Do not attempt to look like an admin squad.

Article VIII: Vehicle Rules

  • Squad Limit: 7 vehicles total (Max 2 planes and 5 others). Dirtbikes do not count and are removed daily.
  • Replacements: No replacements for game glitches without video proof. RECORD YOUR GAMES.
  • Despawn: Vehicles despawn after 10 days of inactivity.
  • Spawn Safety: Bot-spawned vehicles in unsuitable areas will not be replaced. No locking vehicles where they spawn.

Article IX: Admins & Support

  • Participation: Admins play and fight but do NOT participate in base raids.
  • Logs: Admin logs are public. Spawning is for events, testing, and packs only—never during active combat.
  • Reporting: Submit tickets for admin combat spawning. Admins have final say; appeals go to #📋│ban-appeals.
